Senior Vice President of Finance
Shaza oversees More Development’s financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Prior to joining More Development, Shaza held various finance positions within the casino and hospitality industry. Shaza began her career in the Corporate Finance team at Las Vegas Sands Corp., where she participated in various financial transactions, including a $2.5B initial public offering and multi-billion dollar debt financing. In her next role, she evaluated and executed various investment, management, and development opportunities in the US, Asia, Europe, and Caribbean. She also served as VP of Financial Planning & Analysis for Baha Mar, a $3.5B resort in Nassau, Bahamas. At Baha Mar, she was responsible for operating and capital budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. She was also the VP of Finance for a $165M ground-up casino hotel development in Las Vegas, Nevada during the construction, pre-opening, and operational periods.
Shaza is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
