Janet Tacoronte serves as the General Counsel of More Development, overseeing all legal affairs of the company with over 20 years of legal expertise in international real estate and hospitality. She has provided legal counsel and guidance to global companies across various industries, including real estate, hospitality, online marketplaces, and retail. She is passionate about collaborating on cross-functional projects with diverse teams and delivering value.
Janet commenced her legal career in private practice, managing a bankruptcy, real estate, and litigation practice in South Florida for over a decade. Her commitment to community service is reflected in her board appointments in various local non-profits and her pro bono work.
Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, a Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law and is pursuing a joint Global Executive Masters in Business from the École des Ponts Business School and EADA Business School. Janet is admitted to the bar in the State of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, and is also a Solicitor in England & Wales. Proficient in Spanish and conversational in French, a native Floridian and avid Miami Dolphins fan, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and traveling.
